Jezusi të do

In the heart of Tirana, Albania, on a covered field where the sounds of the game echoed off the metal roof, a group of young people gathered to play soccer and volleyball. The structure shielded them from the hot sun, creating a lively atmosphere where every kick and cheer reverberated through the space.

Among the players was Brajan, a 20-year-old university student. Like many of his peers, Brajan held the common belief that science and evolution provided the only rational explanations for life. He hadn't given much thought to religion, assuming that science and faith were fundamentally opposed.

But that day, something unexpected caught his attention—a soccer ball with a simple yet profound message written in Albanian: "Jezusi të do."

During a break in the game, one of the outreach volunteers casually pointed to the words on the soccer ball and asked him, "Have you ever heard that Jesus loves you?"

Brajan paused, confused. "No. What does that even mean?"

That question led to a conversation about the love of God shown through Jesus—a love that was personal and life-changing. Brajan listened with curiosity. Could it be that faith and science weren't enemies? Was it possible that belief in God could coexist with scientific understanding?

Wanting to understand more, Brajan agreed to meet with an elder from a local church. Over several weeks, they discussed science, history, and faith. The elder explained how many pioneers of science were driven by their belief in a Creator, showing Brajan that scientific discovery and faith in God could complement each other.

This new perspective challenged Brajan's assumptions. For the first time, he saw Christianity not as a rejection of reason but as an invitation to explore deeper truths.

A month later, Brajan made a life-changing decision: he placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Not long after, Brajan shared his story with other students, encouraging them to explore the Gospel for themselves. He boldly proclaimed Jesus as the way, the truth, and the life.

What started with a simple soccer game and the words "Jesus loves you" became a turning point in Brajan’s life. His story is a powerful reminder that God can use even ordinary tools—like a soccer ball—to open hearts and transform lives.

We praise God for the work He is doing through Brajan and the many others who are discovering His love in ways they never expected.
